Close your Flido Account
Closing your Flido Agent account is final. Please read the points below carefully before you proceed.
Before you begin
- Closing your account unlinks your registered mobile number — the associated login ID, password and MPIN/APIN will no longer be valid. You won't be able to login into your Flido account using these tokens.
- As per PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) guidelines — Section 12, Point No. 3 & 4 — your transaction logs will continue to be stored for a period of up to 10 years after the deletion of your account.
- Any earnings, settlements or active assignments must be reconciled before closure. Once the account is closed, in-app recovery of credentials is not possible — you would need to re-register as a new agent.
Step-by-step in the Flido app
Each step below shows what the relevant screen looks like in the Flido Agent app.
Login with your registered mobile number
Open the Flido Agent app and sign in using the mobile number you registered with.
Open the Account section from the bottom nav
On the Home screen, tap the Account tab in the bottom-right corner of the bottom navigation bar.
Open Security & Other
Inside the Account screen, scroll to Security & Other — it sits at the bottom of the list, just above the Logout option.
Tap Close Account
Inside Security & Other, choose Close Account from the list.
Read the onboarding screen, then Proceed
Go through the explainer carefully — it tells you what closure means for your wallet, KYC and history — then tap Proceed at the bottom.
Acknowledge and tap Next
Read the confirmation text in full, then tap the Next button at the bottom of the screen.
Enter your reason and Submit
Pick or type an appropriate reason for closing the account, then tap Submit. Your closure request is filed and you'll be logged out.
